FAQs
- How much does it cost?
Every home is different. All I need is your utility bill and your future usage plans and I can give you real numbers in less than 20 minutes.
- What if I don't have a ton of cash laying around but I want to take advantage of all the incentives?
We have $0 down loan and lease options — these will lower your bill on day 1 and even put up to $10,000 cash back in your pocket after install if you're in SDCP territory.
- What if I need a new roof?
We can do the roof and solar project all in one, allowing you to save 30% on your roof. And yes, you can do a full re-roof + solar + battery for $0 money out of pocket — and often times the bill is lower than your current utility bill. It's that good.
- Is the tax credit gone?
There's a new work around, and it's even better than before — now we structure the project as a lease-to-own deal, and in year 5 the system gets transferred to your name. Instead of paying 100% of the cost of the project and getting 30% back the following year, now you just pay 70% of the cost up front and the leasing company absorbs the 30% credit over 5 years. Then you own it. This is available for both cash and financed deals.

- Are there any good battery incentives available still?
YES!!! If you live in San Diego Community Power territory you can qualify for up to $10,000 cash back per property. SDCP territory comprises of Chula Vista, Encinitas, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, National City, San Diego, and Unincorporated San Diego. This applies to loan and lease options as well, so you can go solar and immediately lower your bill + get paid to do so! The check comes 2-3 months after install from SDCP. Funds are limited and will run out in early 2027.
- How long does the whole process take?
As soon as the contract is signed, the system can be installed in as little as 3-4 weeks. Jobs are typically 1-2 days depending on number of panels and batteries.
- Why should I work with you?
Because I'll be here for the rest of my life. So if anything happens to Aloha, I'll be here to take care of you. I love what I do and I am proud to serve my community.
